Magnum is Truly a very special dog. His temperament is what
I consider to be the ideal Rottweiler Temperament for Today's
Society. He is strong and confident, with great working drive,
yet gentle enough to do therapy work. He is very intelligent,
and extremely trainable. He is willing and able to do anything
I ask him to do, and has succeeded in every venue we've tried.
He is currently working in the following venues:
Herding, Tracking, Obedience, Rally, Carting and Schutzhund... and
occasionally comes back out in the Conformation ring to remind
everyone how beautiful he is! As he demonstrated by taking a
Judges Award of Merit at the 2006 Colonial Rottweiler Club Specialty
at 6.5 years of age!
Magnum was one of the top Rottweilers in the Country when he was
being shown. He is very correct in structure, movement, and
breed type. He has excellent Bone and substance, a beautiful
typey head, powerful movement, with tremendous reach and drive, and
an excellent topline. He was V-1 rated at the USRC National

Magnum has also proven himself as a consistent stud dog. He
has won the Stud Dog class at the Colonial Rottweiler Club Specialty
for the last 3 years, won The Stud Dog class at the ARC National
Specialty, and also won Best Stud Dog at the USRC National Sieger show.
But the real proof is in the puppies!! Magnum is producing
puppies that are extremely successful in the conformation ring.
He has produced numerous Champions, many of which were pointed or
even finished from the puppy classes.
He has produced several BISS Winners, Several Specialty Winners
Dog/Winners Bitch Recipients, Several Sweepstakes winners and
numerous specialty placements. One of his puppies, Axel,
was ranked the #2 Rottweiler in the country, 2006.
He is also producing some nice working dogs. Until recently,
the main focus of his puppies was conformation, but we now have
puppies in some great working homes. He has several puppies
that are already titled, and many more working in the following
venues: Agility, Herding, Obedience, Rally, Carting, Tracking,
Therapy and Schutzhund. One of his puppies was
ranked # 1 in Rally, 2006, and one was ranked #1 in
carting 2006. |
